Pre-Dive Mastery is a training program for freedivers that focuses on preparation before the dive. Even before entering the water, the foundation is laid for calm and relaxed dives. It's not about performance, but about awareness, clarity, and presence.
Part 1: Relaxation in freediving with the help of yoga
Gentle stretches, breathing exercises, and Yoga Nidra help release tension and calm the nervous system. During these practices, bodily signals are consciously perceived, and breathing is controlled. The yoga exercises are a perfect preparation for the subsequent mental exercises. The three elements of the practice are:
- Yin Yoga for stretching the respiratory muscles and promoting body awareness
- Breathing exercises to calm the nervous system and optimize breath control
- Yoga Nidra as guided deep relaxation

Part 2: Mental training in freediving
Mental exercises such as visualization, affirmations, and imagination strengthen focus, confidence, and resilience. You will learn, among other things, to consciously perceive and direct your thoughts in order to optimally prepare for your dive. Mental training can be practiced separately or as a continuation of Part 1, so that body and mind are optimally harmonized.
