At the end of this year, I would also like to give a brief outlook on my plans for 2026. There are several ideas, goals, and projects that I will be tackling and that are worth mentioning here.
For now, I plan to stay in Egypt, specifically Dahab, until the end of May 2026. After a busy October and November with a lot of unexpected freediving students, things will quiet down a bit towards the end of the year. However, I'm still expecting some friends who have already signed up and want to take the plunge into freediving with me. I'm really looking forward to that.
At the beginning of 2026, I will then focus on the second part of my project, "PRE-DIVE-MASTERY: Mental Training in Freediving." The new booklet will be laid out and finalized in Berlin during the summer. In addition, I will be undertaking further training, as I have decided to teach freediving to children and teenagers in the future. My many years of experience as a children's yoga teacher, I believe, provide a good foundation for working as a youth instructor in freediving. In addition, I will continue to teach in Dahab and offer AIDA courses and Coaching sessions in the water.
A short trip to Jordan is planned for April 2026. I've been wanting to visit this country for some time now, and since my visa expires in mid-April, I'm taking the opportunity to go. Would anyone like to join me?
The end of May in 2026 will once again mark departure time from Dahab. A visit to my old hometown of Bremen to see my family has become an annual ritual and is very dear to me.
From June until the end of September, I will be back in my familiar surroundings in Berlin. I am particularly looking forward to my work at the Kaskelkinder children's center, where I was already active last summer. I thoroughly enjoyed working with this age group and hope to reconnect with them. I am also planning to complete a training course at a children's hospice, as I would like to volunteer again and further expand my work with children.
The departure from Germany to DAHAB is again planned for the end of September, when it gets cold in Germany and the freediving season begins. I naturally hope to see as many of my students as possible again so that I can continue to accompany them on their dives.
